2. What data we process
We process the data you provide yourself in a form on this website or in your CV:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- your CV and the data in it, such as education, work experience and language skills;
- your message and your preferred industry and location;
- the position you apply for and the language in which you sent the form.
Please do not include data in your CV that we do not need to assess your application — for example your Slovak birth number (rodné číslo) or health information.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Assessing your application and the selection process for the position you are interested in — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
- Keeping your data and CV after the selection process ends and contacting you about other suitable vacancies — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent). The consent is voluntary and given through a separate checkbox that is not pre-ticked.
- Demonstrating that the selection process was conducted properly and defending legal claims — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest).
- Handling messages from the contact form, such as a company's staffing enquiry — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering your request) and, where it concerns entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Who we share data with
Only authorised staff of our company have access to your data. Where necessary, we may share it with:
- clients — a future employer or user employer — where this is needed to assess your candidacy for a specific position;
- IT service providers that host the website, database and file storage for us as processors;
- public authorities where the law requires it.
Website data is stored in data centres in the European Union (Frankfurt am Main). If providing IT services ever involves a transfer outside the EU/EEA, it only takes place with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, in particular a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
- We keep selection-process data while the process is running. Unless you consent to further storage, we keep it for no longer than 6 months after the process ends and then delete it.
- If you give your consent, we keep your data and CV for 2 years from the date of consent or until you withdraw it, whichever comes first.
- If you start working for us, your data is then processed under the rules that apply to employees.
- We keep contact-form messages while handling the request and the follow-up communication, for no longer than 12 months after the last contact unless a contractual relationship results.
6. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right:
- to access your data and receive a copy;
- to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- to have your data erased and its processing restricted;
- to data portability;
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- to withdraw your consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
You can exercise your rights by email to info@nikos-personal.sk or in writing to the company's registered office.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Galvaniho 7/B, 821 04 Bratislava, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
7. Do you have to provide your data?
Providing data is voluntary. However, without your contact details and your confirmation that you have read this information, we cannot process your application. Consent to keep your data after the selection process is optional — not giving it has no effect on how your current application is assessed.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Cookies and third-party content
The website only uses the technical cookie NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
